by Gillian DetestaAs a child, my mother always told me to enjoy the finer things in life, and during October, that’s exactly what I do. Halloween lets us enjoy all the Halloween classics: “Halloweentown,” “Frankenweenie” and, my favorite, “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Some might say that pumpkin spice is extremely overused, butI think they’re wrong. We all know that we look forward to the personal attacks pumpkin spice will take on us. By October, pumpkin spice has already started showing up everywhere, from candles at Bath And Body works to lattes at Starbucks. There’s even pumpkin spice White Claws on the market as we speak. One of the best parts of October is walking into someone’s home and getting the pungent smell of pumpkin spice. If it’s not on your Instagram, did it even happen? Pumpkin patches are the prime location for cute Halloween pictures. We’ve all seen it: the cardboard cut out of Jack and Sally that you can put your faces in, the perfectly placed hay bales just screaming for you to sit on. You can’t get these cute candids with an axe murderer chasing you around. Pumpkin patches are the prime location for “spicing” up your Instagram account. I can’t speak for anyone else, but for me I think there are too many reasons to even name why having a cute Halloween is far better than being scared out of your mind by creepy clowns and ghosts. |
by Kylee SoberdashWhat do you think when you hear the word Halloween? To me, Halloween is for all things scary and gory with a twist of fun. Cute Halloween is for those basic girls drinking there PSL and wearing their Uggs–no hate, Gillian, you do you!. You should grab your ghoulfriends and watch some scary classic Halloween movies like the “Saw” franchise. Another reason why Scary Halloween is a winner when deciding to pick which route to go for this holiday season: all the great haunted houses you can go to for a great scare! With a Cute Halloween, there are no haunted houses or haunted hayrides. You might get to go on a normal hayride, but where’s the fun in that? Scary Halloween has all the great monsters, like Count Dracula and Frankenstein. These are the OG’s of Halloween and were meant to be scary. Also, you can go around scaring people because it is fun when dressed up as something creepy. Now for the decorations, which I think is one of the best parts of the holiday season. It is so fun when you can put up some creepy ghosts and spiders around your house. You know the best houses are the ones that look creepy. With all these fun and scary reasons that is why Scary Halloween is way more fun and you should give it a try. |
