JDRF One Walk Returns to Pitt-Greensburg

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) One Walk is set to occur on Sept. 29. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and the walk itself commences at 10 a.m.. The Walk is meant to raise awareness and money for finding a cure for juvenile diabetes.
The walk typically raises approximately $400,000 per year. About $4,000 was brought in solely by students and faculty among Pitt-Greensburg. Participants in the walk are encouraged to collect donations from friends and families.
An email sent to students and faculty on Sept. 13 has information on how to volunteer as a Walk Team member. If you decide to volunteer as a Walk Team member, you are requested to arrive at 7 a.m..
