The Written/Spoken Train is Moving

Written/Spoken is back up and running, folks.
The Written/Spoken Series is kicking off again on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. in Campana Chapel. The reading is free to the public and will include a book sale and an open mic after the readings.
Two of Professor Lori Jakiela’s students, Ali Dimoff and Alyssa Fry, will be reading before the featured authors; Marissa Landrigan and Scott Silsbe.
Landrigan is a creative nonfiction writer and has been published multiple places, such as (The Atlantic, Salon, and The Rumpus). She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and Environment from Iowa State University.
Silsbe writes poetry and prose and his works have been featured everywhere from (Kitchen Sink and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette). He has gotten three collections of poetry published since 2012.
The reading series brings well-known authors and student writers together as one at Pitt-Greensburg. It is sponsored by the Creative and Professional Writing Program and the Office of Academic Affairs. The second Written/Spoken date will be announced later on.
