Pitt-Greensburg Hosts Charity Kickball Game

On Thursday, March 31, despite the questionable weather, SGA hosted the faculty vs. student charity kickball game.
The event had a superhero theme which was portrayed by students dressed as various superheroes while the faculty team wore capes throughout the entire game.
In order to raise money players donated $10 to play, and numerous clubs on campus donated baskets to be placed in a Chinese auction. Students could also bid on other prizes like Warped Tour tickets, Luke Bryan tickets, a flat screen TV, and gift cards.

Tara Ritenour, junior psychology major, and Tyler Lookabaugh, junior psychology major, put tickets into the prize baskets
Overall the event was a success in raising money to donate to the Child’s play organization, which donates toys and games to hospitals all over the country in order to improve the life of a child who is staying in the hospital.
