Did you know that writing your notes in a variety of ink colors can make it easier to study? Your notes will be more appealing, and the colors can help to fire up your visual memory.

If you leave your shoes on when you are sitting and studying in your room, you will accomplish more work because your mind associates having shoes on with your being busy.

If you catch yourself with a paper cut from going through your notes, apply a little Chapstick and it will help to seal the cut.

If you don’t have a fancy, cushioned laptop desk to buffer you from your overheating laptop, take an old cardboard drink carrier and set that on your lap. This simple and cheap solution will provide a barrier and improve air circulation beneath the laptop.
