Bobcats Roll On Blue & Gold Weekend

On Saturday October 4th, 2014, the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats had their annual three-team tournament at Bobcat Park. Within this tournament, the Bobcats faced off against CCAC South and WCCC.
The team jumped out to an early lead in both games, and held their ground the rest of the game. Cory Deighan started the first game on the mound against WCCC. He threw three strong innings and the Bobcats scored to help him maintain the lead.
The final score of the game was 7-4 in favor of the Bobcats in nine innings.
During their time off, the Bobcats watched the in-between game of CCAC against WCCC. The game was played through seven innings and ended in a 2-2 tie. For the final game of the day, the Bobcats rolled on to an 8-2 win over CCAC. Bill Elliot started on the mound and got the win for UPG.
