Editorial: The Finish Line
by Alexis Osborne

Now that classes have finished, it’s time for finals week. I know that this is a stressful time for students, even me. But as summer rolls around, I have felt myself reflecting on what a great semester this has been and it has me feeling grateful.
I feel that I have accomplished so much this year as I was a new transfer student this year at Pitt-Greensburg. I got the opportunity to become the Editor-in-Chief for this incredible publication. I gained more confidence in myself, improved with my writing, and have created a bond with this community. I am proud of what I have done so far and I think that my staff should be proud of themselves for all their hard work this semester. I am honored to have had this position and am excited to be in this position for next semester as well.
This week, I have taken the time to just look around and absorb what’s around me. The weather is getting nicer, flowers are coming into bloom, and the trees are beginning to gain their leaves back. Even though I have more school work that has been added on to my schedule, I have been making sure to not let myself get too stressed out because I know everything will work out somehow. I give this advice to other students as this week is crucial for them as well.
It seems that time is going so fast as I will be a junior in college, so I cherish these moments that I have on this campus and the stories I get to write for “The Insider”. I look forward to returning to this publication next semester.
Happy finals week, Pitt-Greensburg! Be grateful for your college experience as long as it lasts and be proud of what you all have accomplished.
