A beloved Pitt-Greensburg student, Jenna R. Maroadi, passed away on Friday, Sept. 18. Chorale held a performance in her memory outside of Campana Chapel on Oct. 1 at 11:45 a.m., which can be viewed here.
Jenna was a dedicated student who made the Dean’s List for two years, majoring in psychology and minoring in Spanish and music. She was very involved on campus, including in leadership roles, serving as vice president of the Spanish Club and a peer leader. Jenna loved singing and acting, and she performed in Pitt-Greensburg’s production of “Young Frankenstein” in 2019.
Jenna was warm with everyone she met and was always outgoing in class. She was a friend, mentor, and leader on campus, who will be missed deeply by the entire community.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rose Maroadi. She is survived by her parents, William Maroadi and Lynn Maroadi (Smalley); her daughter, Cassidy Vehar; her brother, Anthony Maroadi (Christina); her grandparents, Carol Smalley and Bill Maroadi; and her child’s father, Josh Vehar. She is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins as well.
Jenna’s family will be in everyone’s thoughts and prayers.
Anyone who would like to send support to her family during this time can do so here, in her obituary guestbook.
