Genre: Action, Drama

Number of Seasons: 2

(26 episodes, 45-60 minutes)

The masked vigilante Daredevil is back, and he’s still kicking ass all over Hell’s Kitchen.

Season two picks up where the first season left off – with Daredevil, aka Matt Murdock, trying to keep danger off the streets of Hell’s Kitchen. But there’s a new player causing havoc all over town, and Daredevil has to get to the bottom of it.

Charlie Cox reprises his role as Murdock, and Elden Henson returns as Murdock’s best friend and law partner, Foggy Nelson. Other returning cast members include Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, their law firm’s secretary, and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, a nurse who helps Murdock when he’s disguised as Daredevil.

Several new characters have been introduced, including the Punisher, aka Frank Castle, played by Jon Bernthal, and Elektra Natchios, played by Élodie Yung. The Punisher is an interesting addition to the cast because, at times, the things he does seem morally wrong, but once you find out his backstory, you can’t help but sympathize with him and understand the actions he takes.

If you’re interested in a show with action, adventure, and incredible character development, Daredevil is the show for you.
