Listen: If there’s one fact of life I’m completely sure of, it’s the fact that you either absolutely love everything Kanye West does, or you absolutely hate everything Kanye West does.

I’m talking everything: The antics, the music, the attitude. The whole over-the-top, ego fueled deal.

So, you’re probably wondering “Kaylee, how do you feel about Kanye West?”

Well. You asked for it.

I absolutely love Kanye West.

I can’t help it. I know he isn’t the best role model around, but I think he’s hilarious. Ever since he called out Taylor Swift all those years ago at the MTV Music Video Awards, I’ve been obsessed.

Now, don’t get me wrong. He has his faults. Sometimes he may be a little egotistical, but really, who isn’t? He’s just a guy doing what he loves and having a good time, and he’s a source of entertainment for a lot of people.

And don’t even get me started on his music. He wouldn’t have made it as far as he has if people didn’t enjoy the music he was putting out. Kanye’s been around since The College Dropout in 2004, and he’s still here 12 years later. It doesn’t seem like he’s going away anytime soon, guys, so you better get used to it.

So, there you have it. I’m a proud member of the Kanye Defense Squad. Now, to my fellow Kanye fans go forth, and listen to Kanye’s new album The Life of Pablo (that is, of course, if you can find it) while rocking the latest pair of Yeezys.

Kanye West is one of a kind. He does what he wants, when he wants, and doesn’t seem to care about the repercussions. This is Kanye’s world, the rest of us are just living in it. Who can forget the shocking moment when Kanye jumped on the VMA stage in 2009, physically ripped the microphone out of Taylor Swift’s hand and interrupted her acceptance speech? Taylor retaliated by pulling herself together, and putting on a once in a life time performance just moments after.

Since then, Kanye’s irrelevant attacks against Taylor Swift only seem to push her harder. Kanye has to beat down everyone around him simply to make himself feel better.

I must say I am a fan of some of his songs, though witnessing the way he carries himself and treats others around him makes his music seem less appealing.

Can we make note, too, about his infamous ‘Go Fund Me Account,” and the crippling debt he claims to be in? He’s been famous for quite some time now, taking on a career in the music industry and then partnering with Adidas for a fashion line. Also, he’s married to a Kardashian, who seems to conquer the world these days.

I’m sure he would have made millions with this new album had he just listened to his fans, and published it in a more accessible way. But again, the man does what he wants, and doesn’t care about the other people around him.

Kanye has talent, but he also has an attitude that outshines the successful artist he is, and could be in the future.
