All Pitt students, faculty, and staff will receive an exclusive deal from the campus bookstore during Easter week.

After partnering with a local bunny and chicks rescue shelter, for the first time ever on a Pittsburgh university campus, live bunnies and chicks are being sold exclusively and for one week only.

By presenting your Pitt ID, you can receive a 50% discount on every bunny or chick you purchase.

A range of different breeds of bunnies and chicks are available. From white or pink bunnies to yellow or purple chicks, come take a look after class and choose your next companion.

The animals are available for purchase along with custom Easter accessories that are tailored to fit each bunny and chick.

There are various accessories to pick from, such as hats and jewelry. You can also make a custom outfit for your pet.

From April 1 until the end of the week, they will be found in the back of the store.

However, these bunnies and chicks are special.

“They are not ordinary animals,” bookstore staff says, “but on Easter Day, they will lay chocolate eggs in your backyard.”

This is your chance to gain a new companion in your life who will bring you much needed joy and happiness.

But beware of letting your bunnies and chicks roam around campus. The Komodo dragon is still out and about, and campus police say it is very hungry.
