How would you describe yourself in three words?
“I would say high-maintenance, definitely a high-maintenance girly. I would also say intentional, very intentional. And I would say I’m respectful.”
Can you walk us through today’s outfit and where each piece is from?
Pants – Urban Outfitters
Zip-up Jacket – Elevated Faith
Tank Top – Shein
Shoes – New Balance
What inspired this outfit today?
“I would describe it as comfy, cozy, but like elevated streetwear. It’s warm for the weather. I don’t really think I had a person or style inspiration in mind. I kind of just threw it on and prayed it looked good and walked out the door.
“But I would say I like to go for at least matching from head-to-toe, something in my bottoms matching something from my top, so the gray matches the gray parts of my pants. And the gray matches my claw clip.
“So, like I try to tie in one color with this. That’s my goal.”
What or who are your overall style inspirations?
“Yes, see that is always really hard for me because I try and find somebody constantly to kind of model my style off of or get inspiration. I can’t say I do.
“Usually, from just scrolling on social media, I see somebody random whose outfit I really like, and I will save it into a folder online, and then it’s usually a bunch of random people.
“So there’s not one influential figure, I would say.”
What song matches this outfit?
“I would say any Lauryn Hill song, really, because if you listen to her, you know most of them are the same, like calm, compassionate, slow soul songs, and that’s what I hope to give off.”
What trend are you currently loving? What are you officially over?
“I would say I’m definitely into the comfy-cozy vibe, like being able to show up to school and not wearing uncomfortable clothes for the appeal. I just love showing up in baggy clothing – baggy, that’s the trend.
“I’m totally over literally the opposite, like when I was a freshman, I would come to school in crop tops and skinny jeans, just so uncomfortable because I thought it looked cute. So I’m more into being covered up and being chill and being okay with wearing oversized clothes.
“So, I would say skinny jeans and tight tops, I’m over that.”
Your best style advice:
“Dress your authentic self, dress how you feel inside that day. If you feel like wearing sweatpants one day, put on the sweatpants. If you do feel like wearing skinny jeans, do it. If it’s really you and you’re comfortable in it, just wear it because you are comfortable.”

Name: Jessica Sophia Garcia

How would you describe yourself in three words?
“Three words? Honest, very motivated, and creative.”
Can you walk us through today’s outfit and where each piece is from?
Sweater – Goodwill
Thermal undershirt – 32 Degrees
Skirt – Aeropostale
Boots – Uggs
What inspired this outfit today?
“My sister’s in town, my sister lives in California, and she’s visiting for the week. So, I got dressed up to walk around the town of Downtown Greensburg with my family.”
What or who are your overall style inspirations?
“I don’t know. Honestly, no one. No, literally no one. I’m a huge creative person, and I grew up a very religious person, but I think sometimes when it comes to religion, it’s always about modesty and not showing anything. So for me, I don’t really care about that.
“But I love expressing myself through fashion, and I like to keep it very simple. I don’t think I am very extravagant with my outfits at all, that’s my personal opinion. But I do tend to get compliments, and I love when I get compliments from women. They’re the best.
“So that’s kind of my inspiration, just being myself through my outfits.”
What song matches this outfit?
“I am a Spanish speaker, so I listen to a lot of Spanish music. I think today this might fit, it’s called ‘El Puesto Es Mío,’ and it’s by someone called Los Mesoneros. Basically, the title is ‘That Position Is Mine.’”
What trend are you currently loving? What are you officially over?
“Oh no. I’m not into trends. I don’t do trends.”
Your best style advice:
“No microtrends. Don’t follow anyone. Pinterest is great. I usually think of and see things on Pinterest. But if you ever thrift, just see the things that you like. Every day is something different. My style is never the same. I like being a tomboy, and I like being a girly girl, all in the same day. So just be yourself.”

Can you walk us through today’s outfit and where each piece is from?
N.Y. Hat – Gift from a friend
Scarf – Gift from mother, purchased from India
Coat – Purchased online
Boots – Custom-made
What inspired this outfit today?
“To stay warm for sure. But I felt that I dressed so in the background. Originally, it was for my health, and then I started to receive such positive feedback, which only encouraged me to dress this way more, because I don’t usually ever.
“I don’t really know anything about fashion or style. Like, this is my first time, I think, experimenting with that, kind of ever. And to see that it was received so positively definitely gives me an insight into how I want my future to be.
“Definitely taking care of myself in a different way, for sure. And so I wanted to go with something where I would feel confident from all that I’m receiving from others, and then to kind of carry that with me, especially because I know this was given to me from my loved ones.”
What or who are your overall style inspirations?
“I tell my friends I like to dress, like I said, in the background, like a shadow… I just kind of like to lurk there. However, my personality, I think, is very polarizing to how I like to dress. So it’s, it’s a nice toss up, or rather, it’s a toss-up between the two of them, but it’s nice.
“I wanted to try something different. And I felt like this was really out of my comfort zone. And so I figured with being at university, it’s like self-exploration and seeing who you are, what you like, and seeing what you want to be around, what you don’t want to be around.
“And so I figured I would start with something like this. I would say it comes together as like, say my own look at this, to kind of match how people will love me and accept me, to kind of bring that out.”
What song matches this outfit?
“I would say ‘The Motto’ by Ava Max. I feel like it makes me feel like I could go out. I could go party. I feel like a million bucks, like I feel really important. And so to me, I feel like that would be the song I would think of when I would wear this outfit.”
What trend are you currently loving? What are you officially over?
“I’m unaware of what the current trends are. Personally, I don’t really like neon colors. They’re a little much for me. Acid wash is a little much. I think that those are very loud. Those are a no for me. Also, in tandem with that, I’m not into the cowboy aesthetic, that kind of stuff. Not my jam. The camo is another thing, Not a huge fan.
“I like the aesthetic currently, everybody in coats and hats and stuff. Everybody looks cozy or more relaxed. It’s the extra pieces of clothing, yeah?”
Your best style advice:
“Wear what you feel is comfortable. People are gonna judge regardless of what you do, so at least if you go forward with you know, ‘I’m comfortable with me.’ Nothing that anybody else says matters. I would say it’s probably the best advice I can give to anybody, fashion and beyond.
