Free Pies in Chambers Hall This Thursday, Nov. 20

Come join SAB in Chambers Hall this Thursday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. for free mini pies. 

To get a pie, come to the table set up in Chambers, write down something you’re grateful for, and exchange that note for a pie. The notes will be hung on a tree as ornaments for a Thanksgiving decoration.

Holly Topoll, SAB novelties coordinator and organizer of the event, revealed the idea behind it.

“I feel like this month is about giving back and being grateful,” Topoll said. “That was kind of my idea behind it.”

Topoll also added that pies are just a good thing to have during this holiday season.

“I wanted to give back. It’s that time of year. People are going home, people are staying, so I thought it would be kind of comforting to have a pie.”

There will be 150 pies available in five flavors: apple, cherry, pumpkin, chocolate, and Oreo. Visit Chambers Hall this Thursday and get them while they last.
