The Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats finished their impressive end-of-season run by securing a first-round bye with a thrilling 90–88 win over top-seeded Pitt-Bradford on Feb. 22. This victory marked their ninth consecutive win and helped them clinch the second seed in the AMCC tournament.

The offense was on fire, with junior Michael Bigley leading the team with 21 points and four assists. Sophomore Trent Rozich contributed 19 points, five assists, and six rebounds, while junior Matt Marinchak added 15 points, including the game-sealing bucket. The team shot 58% from the field and 44% from three-point range.

The win was particularly meaningful as it occurred on Senior Day, a celebration of the hard work and dedication of the seniors over their four years with the team.

The Bobcats now turn their focus to the winner of the Penn State Altoona vs. Hilbert AMCC quarterfinal game. Penn State Altoona, sitting at the No. 3 seed, split the season series with the Bobcats, while Pitt-Greensburg completed a season sweep over Hilbert.
