The Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats traveled to Pittsburgh on Feb. 12 to take on La Roche, securing an 84–77 victory. The win marks their ninth in the last 10 games and extends their current win streak to six, following a 98–93 loss to top-seeded Pitt-Bradford on Jan. 18.

Pitt-Greensburg’s offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting around 51% from the field and 47% from beyond the arc. Sophomore forward Trent Rozich and junior guard Matt Marinchak led the way, combining for 44 points. Junior forward Joziah Wyatt-Taylor added 12 points, while freshman guard/forward Ty Keffer chipped in 11 points.

When asked what the team needs to focus on as they head into the playoffs, Coach Klimchock emphasized the importance of consistency: “Continuing focusing on the little things in practice, and having that translate into the game.”

With the win over La Roche, Pitt-Greensburg improved to 15–7 overall and 9–4 in AMCC play. The Bobcats will face Hilbert College next on Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. It will be the fourth and final game of their current road stretch.
