Want to try to be a detective for a night? Then join the Criminal Justice Club on Jan. 31 for a murder mystery game night. The game will take place from 5:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. in Village Hall 118. Games will be played in teams of four to six and participants can either RSVP to the event on the club’s Engage page with a group or play solo and be assigned to a group when the game starts.

Riley Obradovich, president of the Criminal Justice Club, says that every case a group gets will be different and will have its own unique storyline.

“They usually have clues to help you solve the crime that they give you. It’s really fun, and we will have snacks and drinks too,” Obradovich said. “It can get really intense trying to solve it and is super fun to bring your friends to.”

Kelsey Bayus, their vice president, looks forward to this game night and future ones.

“These case file nights are a great way to use your brain, have fun with your friends, and even walk away with new friends,” Bayus said. “We started these case file nights as a way to get people engaged in the Criminal Justice club, and I hope there are many more to come.”
