Are you in the mood for a movie and meatballs? If yes, Wagner Dining Hall is the place for you this Thursday, as the movie “Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs” will be shown Jan. 25 at Wagner Dining Hall, inside of Chambers Hall.
An email was sent out to Pitt-Greensburg students on Friday, Jan. 19, detailing the event.
Shawn Clements, director of dining service for Chartwells at Pitt-Greensburg, has an important role in planning this event.
“It’s a team collaboration… food will be themed for the movie showing.” Shawn said. “As a team, myself, Tim, and Margo discuss it and develop a menu for the event.”
Assistant Director of Dining, Margo Elder, is behind the idea for the feast-themed event.
“I chose this movie for two reasons: first, it is a food inspired movie. Second, it’s one of my favorite movies, and I know it very well,” Elder said.
Elder also believes that this is a great opportunity for students to escape the stresses of college.
“The movie represents the student body in a way that it gives them a chance to relax, sit down, enjoy a movie, and take a break from academics, which college students deserve.”
The screening will be between 4:30-7:00 p.m.
