Pitt Greensburg’s 61st Blue & Gold Celebration, the Greensburg campus’s spirit weekend, is taking place Thursday, Sept. 28 through Saturday, Sept. 30. Students, faculty, families, and alumni are all invited to attend the three-day event. An event full of food, art, live music, and even a ghost tour, there is something for everyone this spirit week.
Julia Sefcheck, alumni engagement officer, helps plan the events for the Blue & Gold Celebration.
“It’s about bringing the spirit to campus and celebrating the community,” Sefcheck said.
President Robert Gregerson attends numerous events throughout the celebration weekend..
“It’s all great, but my favorite part of Blue and Gold is the art show. I like seeing the artistic talents displayed, and I always buy a favorite piece from the show,” Gregerson said.“The alumni awards banquet is another event that I particularly enjoy. Celebrating the contributions and achievements of a few of our outstanding alums is very gratifying.”
