The men’s soccer team had many good times and bad times throughout their 2023 season.

The team finished this season with an overall record of 10-7-2, and won in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Tournament Quarterfinals against Penn State-Altoona. Unfortunately, the team lost in the semifinals of the tournament to Mount Aloysius College.

The successes of the season qualified the team for the Eastern Conference Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament. The team lost their first round game to Franciscan University on Saturday, Nov.11, by a final score of 1-0.

Despite the tournament losses, Freshman Logan Swartz still considers the season to be a successful one.

“I believe that we got a lot better,” Swartz said.

One of the highlights from this past season for the team was having the experience of playing at Highmark Stadium, home of the United Soccer League (USL) Championship Leagues Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

“Being able to play at Highmark was an awesome experience, having the supporters was awesome,” Swartz said.

The team now will begin preparation for the 2024 season.
