On Nov. 11, 2018 at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA, the impractical jokers from TruTV’s hit show “Impractical Jokers” performed an hour and a half full of comedy.
The names of the jokers are James “Murr” Murray, Joe Gatto, Sal Vulcano, and Brian “Q” Quinn. They have been best friends for over 25 years.
The show is where the four of them compete in challenges against each other and the one that loses the most challenges has to be “punished” by doing some things such as having to go skydiving or heckling during a presentation at a Tumblr meeting. The only catch is that the joker that gets punished has to complete the punishment and cannot say no like they can during the challenges.
This show was so amazing and I enjoyed it very much. I was lucky enough to get to meet one of them backstage before the show with a meet and greet pass.
The arena was filled with a ton of adoring fans and the jokers all made really funny jokes and made sure to find a way to include the audience. All of the guys are so down to earth and how they act on the show is how they act in their live performances. This show kept the audience well engaged and I could not stop laughing.
This show is said to be funnier than the their last live tour. The show may have been shorter than what I thought it would be but it felt like it went on forever, in a good way. I did not want to leave because they were so funny and at one point they brought someone up on stage to joke with them for a little bit as part of their act.
Some of the people I met at the show said that they loved them on the show and that their favorite part of every episode is when one of the jokers gets punished. This live show was a very fun and entertaining event and I am looking forward to going to another event like this when they come back to the Pittsburgh area.
